New Horizons is always looking for new Volunteers to help us offer services to our members. And volunteering can help you develop new skills, meet new people and feel good by helping others. People volunteer for many reasons; whatever your reason we would like to hear from you. We are partners with Age UK Kensingotn & Chelsea who also have volunteering opportunities available. See here for more details. How to VolunteerIf you think you can help, either on a regular basis or just occasionally, please call us. We will send you an application form by post or e-mail. Fill it in and send it back. When we receive your application we will invite you for an informal chat about what you can do as a volunteer. IT SupportWe are looking for volunteers to help members in the IT Suite during our supported drop-in sessions. Assistant to Deputy Manager (Outreach and Development)You will need good administrative skills and an IT background. Class AssistantWe are looking for assistants to help during our tutor-led computer classes. Tutors/TeachersOr maybe you would like to run a class teaching your skills? We are open to new ideas - examples of classes Crochet, Art, All types of Dancing, Games, Languages, IT Computer lessons, Digital Photography. AdministrationYou will need good administrative skills and an IT background. |
