New Horizons "Multi Activity" centre is a modern, lively, convivial centre for all those aged 50 and over. At New Horizons we celebrate age, stage and experience. Our aim is to promote active lifestyles and independence. Whether you are looking for new challenges, health support or the opportunity to make new acquaintances, do come and see all that we have to offer.

The Bradbury Orangery Café will be open from 9.30-4.00pm for food and drinks. (Last service 4.00pm)
PLEASE NOTE: As from Friday 1st April 2016 all classes can only be paid for 1 hour in advance.
For all Physical Activity Classes, there will be NO admittance if you are 10 minutes late. This does not apply to the courses that are advertised as 'Please Book'.

FREE ART TALKS FROM TALKING ARTE
New Horizons in partnership with Talking Arte has some new and exciting free art talks/tours coming up and delivered by art historian Monica Guitierrez del Palacio. Exploring a series of themes, beginning with the Renaissance period, these talks will provide you with not only excellent art history knowledge, but also fun along the way!

Tuesday 7th March - National Gallery | New views of the Renaissance This talk offers a deep understanding of the Renaissance period focusing on both religious and secular paintings from the 13th to the 15th centuries in England, Italy and the Netherlands. This tour of the beautiful Renaissance galleries at the National Gallery offers an enlightened and renewed vision of this fascinating period.
Tuesday 25th April - Victoria and Albert Museum | Christian art and iconography This tour around the Medieval and Renaissance galleries at the Victoria and Albert Museum offers an insight into the beginnings of Christian art and iconography and the forming of Europe as we know it today.
Tuesday 2nd May - Tate Britain | From Enlightenment to Romanticism This talk focuses on the impact that the Napoleonic phenomenon had on British art, considering the period from 1780 to 1830, with a particular emphasis on the work of Turner.
Tuesday 13th June - National Gallery | Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism Enjoy the amazing National Gallery collection learning about the impressionists and neo-impressionists, who opened the door to modern art.
